Bingo Chat Room Slang

The Internet has a vocabulary all of it's own. This Internet slang (known also as chatspeak or netspeak) has evolved from all over. The military was an early proponent of taking short cuts to communicate during WWII since it was very valuable to be brief when trying to send messages during missions. Before the Internet was developed for mass use an early predesso was the BBS (bulletin board systems) and chat acrynoms were already seen flying in those pre-Internet days. Now with the rise of instant messaging and gaming sites it's use as exploded. If you're not familar with chatspeak you might feel a bit left out so we're listing the most popular and known terms in Internet slang.
